Am I a good candidate for permanent makeup (PMU)?

Permanent makeup is a great, alternative option for anyone who wants to cut down their time in the makeup process. However, it is not be a suitable choice if you meet any of the following condition(s):

  • Are under 18-years-old (YOU MUST BE 18 OR OLDER!)

  • Pregnant/Nursing

  • Have an active dermatologic disorders (i.e., rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, keratosis pilaris, dermatitis, and chronic acne.)

  • Are likely to develop viral infections and/or diseases due to weak immune systems

  • Have allergic reaction to metal and colour pigments.

What is the difference between microblading and ombré powder brows?

The main difference between microblading and ombré powder brows is, traditional microblading uses a hand device to create realistic looking hair strokes in the brow line. Whereas, ombré powder brows uses an ultra-fine tattoo needle and a Permanent Makeup (PMU) Device to deliver pigment to the skin, creating a look most like makeup powder.

Is my skin type suitable to have permanent makeup?

It varies among every person. Microblading may be a better option for anyone who has dry or normal skin type and wants a more natural, hair-like look to their eyebrows. In contrast, ombré powdered brows are wonderful for clients who have oily or acne-prone skin type and prefer a more defined, filled look. Both brow styles can be customized to look soft or darker depending on your style and desired look.

How long will my new brows last?

Both microblading and ombré powder brows offers long-lasting results, but the longevity of your brows depends on many factors. These factors include skin type, aftercare, and the amount of sun exposure can dramatically influence how long your brows will last. During the healing phase, it is extremely crucial to follow the detailed aftercare plan as provided by your artist to guarantee a desired look.
